  • 📍Location: East Lancaster (Los Angeles County)

Step 3: Grow What You Can

After cultivating your own connection with the land, grow what you can. Plant vegetables, trees, herbs, even flowers. Enjoy your harvest, invite family and friends, and have a delicious cooked meal by the Tiny Forest.

  • 📅Hours: 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM (must RSVP)
  • 📍Location: East Lancaster (Los Angeles County)
  • 🌱Size: 50' row, ~30' width

Step 4: Choose What We Grow

Can't commit to driving to the middle of the desert? We completely understand! You can still help us by selecting which foods we should grow at the Tiny Forest. Reserve your favorite produce with a $1 deposit. We'll plant and harvest it...exclusively for you.

🌾 Vegetables

We've grown kale, chard, broccoli, onions, and hot peppers at the land. Choose your favorite vegetables and we'll care for it right by the Tiny Forest in the Desert.

🫒 Fruits

Pomegranates, figs, olives, and goji berries were our first fruits. Choose your favorite fruits and we'll commit to cultivating it as best as we can.

🌻 Flowers

Sunflowers, lupines, poppies, and other native flowers thrive in abundance at the Tiny Forest. Select your favorite and we'll save a bouquet, just for you.

Step 5: Host An Event

Exclusive to established Earthworkers: you are welcome to host your own event entirely for free. The catch? We ask you to promote our nonprofit's donation fundraiser to your audience. We'll walk you through the logistics to ensure your event is a success.

Step 6: Give Plants

If you've got a green thumb, become one of our trusted Backyard Growers! All we ask is that you share the seeds and/or gift a plant for us to transplant in the desert. (Our Sunflower Kit is an incredible "backyard to desert" plants!)

Ambassador

Step 7: Become an Ambassador

We'd love for you to help us tell our story! We have video, audio, and scripts to help you put together a content masterpiece. Grab some time on our calendar and we'll help you succeed as a micro-influencer, storyteller, and climate ambassador.
