Become an Earthworker

Come work the land with our free volunteer community. Every Second Saturday, we gather at the farm to water plants, plant seeds, build raised beds, and tend the Tiny Forest — together.

  • 🚌The Starry Night Skoolie provides shade, cold water & rest
  • 📵Device-free & substance-free — come fully present

60 minutes with an Earthworker. Learn dryland water harvesting, native ecology, and soil science.

EarthSTEM — TK through 5th Grade

The Desert is Our Classroom.

Nature-based STEM curriculum for TK-5 students. Fully aligned with California Common Core. Available as on-site field trips to our farm, engaging in-classroom workshops, or take-home guides/kits for families.

🌾 Field Trips to the Farm

Half-day immersive experiences. Sliding scale fees. Title I schools may qualify for full sponsorship.

🏫 In-Classroom Workshops

We bring the farm to you with Worm Boxes, Sunflower Kits, and interactive lessons. $100–$500 per session; Title I schools may qualify for full sponsorship.

🌻 Sunflower Kits

Take-home growing kits for students and families: seeds, soil, pot, and a red wiggler worm included.
