For Every Star, A Tree exists because of this problem:

The lack of Tree Canopy (shade) and Green Space (access) in Los Angeles' Antelope Valley.

The people we immediately serve are the residents in Hi Vista (East Lancaster). We also serve residents of the greater Los Angeles county area who are looking for climate action community, shared purpose, and positive impact.

Our mission is to restore desertified Earth. We do this by cultivating healthier soil, increasing biodiversity, and improving access to greener community spaces.

Measurable outputs and outcomes include: mental health regarding climate change (aka "climate anxiety"), shade, temperature, tree canopy, number of volunteers, number of visitors, and number of guests.

Our vision is to grow an entire 10-acre oasis for future generations, and one day create a "constellation" of Tiny Forests scattered across the desert.
