Volunteer at For Every Star, A Tree

Let's be honest.

The planet doesn't need another hashtag.

It needs people like you who show up.

We exists because waiting didn't work. Instead of hoping humanity eventually figures it out...we're doing one of the most radical acts we could think of:

Getting back to the Earth and doing it ourselves.

Why We Volunteer

The systems that got us here aren't going to save us.

Governments move too slow. Corporations greenwash for taxes. Even academics, scientists, and technologists stop at journals, conferences, and spreading awareness.

We decided to skip the theatrics and get straight to the dirt.

We've been regenerating desert land since 2021. Not with tech, not with articles, but with sweat, our own hands, and sheer, stubborn optimism.

In a world so overwhelmed with climate despair, we believe in Earthcare over Doomscrolling.

That's why we're on a mission to write a positive climate story for the future.

And we want you right there with us.

Who Is This For?

We call our volunteers Earthworkers because words matter.

Earthworkers are people who care for the land directly, immediately, and intimately.

They're people who share skills and stories, bring others into the work.

They understand that hope is built...not wished for.

Each Earthworker understands that their presence, their actions, and their intentions immediately change the ecosystem.

Simply by showing up, rolling up their sleeves, and getting to work.

What Volunteering Means

Volunteering with For Every Star, A Tree isn't about gaining credits or resume experience.

It's about:

  • Moving wood chips
  • Layering mulch, ash, and soil
  • Feeding the worm bin
  • Carrying water under a brutal sun
  • Planting trees that we hope outlive us
  • Choosing effort and empathy over comfort
  • Creating habitat where nothing was supposed to survive

You won't be a helper. You'll be an Earthworker: a core part of the work.

A Day In The Life

People tell us volunteering here feels like hearing true silence for the first time.

When you give way to the desert, the desert reveals itself. It's not barren, and it's not fate. It's yearning for care.

The sun is a beast. The wind is, too.

You'll get tired. You'll get dirty.

And you'll leave knowing that you made a difference.
